my stay was comfortable, and i loved being just a short walk away from the beautiful monte ceclia park and stardome the auckland observatory, making it easy to enjoy lovely strolls through nature and explore fascinating landmarks as well.

The water pressure in the shower was unimpressive, making it tricky to rinse off fully. There was a noticeable odor in the room, like mothballs, but you eventually get used to it. housekeeping seemed neglected—dusting was overdue, and I encountered some long-term guests who contributed to an uncomfortable atmosphere. the pool was a letdown. it was dirty and the gates were locked, preventing any chance of a swim, which was a major bummer. The place feels dated and may not justify its price.
